Founded in 1986 by Eric Bell, Inspect-A-Home is a full service home inspection company specialising in residential, commercial and industrial property.
Inspect-A-Home is the only national inspection company. Our goal is to provide an unparalleled, professional service – the kind that only our independent franchise operators are trained and equipped to offer.
Inspect-A-Home has established itself as a leader in the home inspection arena in South Africa and has been instrumental in the development and maturation of the industry.
Inspect-A-Home is a member of various home inspection groups such as the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (USA) (NACHI), the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and National Association of Home Inspectors (USA) (NAHI). We agree with their principles and what they are trying to achieve. However, membership to these organisations alone does not prove reputation or credibility, and we warn against other companies that claim that it does.
There is currently no recognised Home Inspection Association in South Africa. (Although some inspection companies appear to have created their own, and are the sole members!)
Inspect-A-Home is currently pioneering the regulation of the Home Inspection industry to protect the consumer.
